Calypso is a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix is truly one of a kind. She is the sweetest girl, affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she’s snuggling up beside you or snoozing the day away. She also has a wonderfully goofy side and loves nothing more than trotting around the yard with two balls in her mouth at once.
She has a strong protective instinct and will defend her family’s honor without hesitation. She bonds deeply with her people and thrives in a calm, loving home where she can be someone’s loyal companion. She is great with other dogs and cats with a proper and slow introduction. Although she would also thrive being the only pet as well!
Her current family recently welcomed a baby and she has not adjusted well.
She would do best in:

• A yard where she can run, explore, and carry her beloved balls
• A person who wants a loyal shadow and cuddle buddy

Pixie is a very loving dog, very good with kids but should be the only dog in the house hold. Energetic, could play fetch for hours, cuddles, good listener. She knows basic commands, off leash trained and stays in yard.

Zeus and Apollo are a bonded pair that should stay together. They are non-deatructive, have no known health issues, and are great at tolerating nail trims. Apollo (gray) loves to cuddle and be held, and would do well with children. And He really likes to hold your hand. He is not nervous around strangers and gets along with dogs and cats. Zeus (orange) is more aloof but will come around for cuddles on his own terms. He would prefer to spend most of his spare time in a cardboard box. He would be ok around children, but I dont think he would seek their attention out. He is also good around dogs and cats.

Millie is a black and white cat who can be shy around other cats at first but has a big heart and loves to be petted, loves toys and can be a snuggle bug. She also loves to talk! She is goofy, silly and very sweet once she is settled in. She has not been around any children or dogs but I would feel she would do well with one other cat.

Dudley is a loyal, loving senior hound who has been a deeply cherished part of our family. He currently lives in a calm, quiet home. The biggest recent change for him has been the addition of our baby. As he has gotten older, we’ve realized we don’t feel fully confident with young children in his space. In the past, he has shown signs of annoyance when children approach him too quickly or enter his personal space. Because of this, we believe he would thrive best in an adult-only home or with older, respectful children who understand boundaries. Dudley is very well-mannered in the house. He is fully house-trained, crate trained if ever needed, and does not destroy things. He rarely barks — only to alert you when someone is at the door — and when he does, it’s his classic deep basset hound bark. Otherwise, he is quiet and content. He loves to adventure, go for car rides, and sniff the perimeter of the yard like it’s his daily patrol. After a little exploring, he’s happiest napping at your feet or relaxing near his people. He bonds deeply and is incredibly loyal. Dudley has lived with a large dog in the past and could potentially coexist with another calm, well-balanced dog. However, he would need an experienced owner who understands food guarding and typical hound behavior. Like many hounds, he prefers not to be approached by other animals while eating and can be possessive of food and certain resting spots. He can be a bit of a “grumpy old hound man” at times and would not be well suited for a home with young, small, or high-energy dogs, as he no longer has the patience for them. Someone would want to adopt Dudley because he is past the chaos of puppyhood and simply wants companionship, routine, and a peaceful home to enjoy his senior years. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and we will provide full medical records. He is especially well suited for someone living alone or in a quiet household — he gives you that comforting, protective presence of a dog, will let you know if someone is at the door, and then happily relax the rest of the day. He is very laid back and does not require constant activity or high energy. In the right, experienced home, Dudley will be a steady, loyal companion with so much love still to give. Dudley will come with food, treats, new bed, food bowls, and toys.

Nipsey is a 7-year-old neutered Siberian Husky with the heart of a gentle giant. He is the strong, silent type: steady, loyal, affectionate, and deeply content just being near his people. He does not ask for much, rarely complains, and has a calm, easygoing presence that brings a peaceful feeling to the home. Nipsey is wonderfully versatile. He is happy to relax and keep you company, but he also loves to play and be part of the fun. He has a sweet sense of humor, an expressive face, and unmistakable Husky charisma. He is fully house-trained, has no history of aggression, and does not resource guard. He is gentle and loving with our toddler and with the other dog in our household, who is much smaller. Because of his size and breed, Nipsey deserves a home that can offer him regular exercise, room to move, play, and thoughtful care. He can pull on the leash when excited, almost as if he does not realize how big he is, so he will do best with someone comfortable handling a large dog. He is, in every sense, a true gentle giant.

Sadie Mae “Potato”– Looking for Her Perfect Home 🐾 It breaks my heart to make this post, but Sadie Mae deserves a home where she can thrive. Sadie Mae, affectionately known as “Potato,” is a 2-year-old Cane Corso (born February 21, 2024) weighing in at 102 pounds of love, loyalty, and couch-potato energy. She is current on all vaccinations and is not yet spayed, but I am willing to schedule and cover the cost of her spay. Sadie is wonderful with my older children and absolutely adores her people. She is a true Cane Corso—protective of her family and home, deeply loyal, and happiest when she is included in whatever is going on. Once she knows and trusts someone, she’ll happily become their shadow and try to give them giant Cane Corso hugs. Unfortunately, Sadie and my other female dog are no longer getting along. Because of her protective nature and food aggression toward other dogs, she would do best as an only dog. She has lived around a cat most of her life, though she does enjoy chasing him, so any potential home with cats should understand that dynamic. Sadie would be best suited for someone familiar with the Cane Corso breed or someone committed to understanding the needs of a guardian breed. She needs a confident owner who appreciates having a loyal companion that wants to be involved in every part of daily life. Charle is a wonderful dog 95% of the time - he loves to hang out with his people, walks well on a leash, knows his commands well, but does not like the constant stimuli of other dogs nearby in our busy walking neighborhood. He lives with two other dogs and does well, but does not care for dogs out and about. Charle has not encountered cats before, so we are unsure how he would do with them. He is a sweet, silly dog that loves his squeaky toys and entertains himself. We have had him since he was just a tiny pup, but his reactivity to other dogs in the neighborhood is challenging for us all. He would do best to have space to run around where there isn't the constant dog walkers coming by the yard. We love him so much but want him to be in an environment that he can be at ease in.

Due to my brother passing away, I am looking for loving homes for his dog. Boomer is almost 2 and was born on 2/26/23. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, heart worm negative and currently on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Boomer is the most loving, playful boy. He loves to play fetch and tug of war with any human or dog. He enjoys walks or hikes, riding in the car and loves to snuggle. Boomer is fully potty trained and is flexible with how he is fed. My brother free fed his dogs but he quickly adjusted to eating twice a day along with my dogs. He is dog friendly and grew up with a cat, so would do fine with other pets in the home.

Momma and her darling kitten are both very sweet, but shy. My mother rescued them from the elements because their owner had passed away and the kitten was only a couple weeks old when momma showed up at the door looking for food and shelter for her baby. Since the momma cat lost her owner, my mother would love to find someone willing to take them both so they can stay together. 🙏🏻

Bear is Crystals brother, he is all black male with white fur on his chest. He is an absolute love bug and will come cuddle you in your lap. He's very lovey, will meet you at the door when you get home, and wants to cuddle 24/7. He's great with kids. He would probably be best as the king of the castle. Pinto is a character! He’s a black and white kitten and his brother is Bear. Pinto loves attention and to be held, he will also climb onto your shoulders and hang out there. He’s playful, a little talkative when he wants some love. I feel he does well with others but not too much because of stimulation. He’s currently not fixed but is still a lover. Unsure how he would do with dogs or children but after some getting used to I don’t see much problem. I would say he may do well with another animal but a quiet one single cat home may be better! He’s a sweetheart.

Lilly is an absolute joy,funny playful and the greatest snuggler ever,she does great with ppl and kids but she's still young and has a good amount of energy so will require a fenced in yard to run and burn off that energy.She loves toys,complety housebroken and is left to run the house when we leave and is totally fine as she has zero chewing issues.She does however have a large cage she asks to go into when she gets really tired,8 think it's her comfy zone,but she will ring her bell on the door to tell me she wants to go in there and also rings the door on the back door to tell me when she has to potty.She loves all toys but they don't last long at this age,but enjoys the toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls to year up if you don't mind cleaning up the bits and pieces also pop bottles she will remove the caps and crush the bottles lol never had a problem with her eating anything so no worries she just enjoys the destruction aspect😜,she is great on car rides and walks but is best at chillin at home watching TV with you or sitting outside near you.we really hope to find lilly her forever home this precious girl deserves to have a family to call her own and it kills us she can't stay with us but unfortunately we have 2 dogs already and Lily wants to be an only child.

Ginny is a dachshund / border collie mix. She is a devoted friend - she definitely fits the description of man's best friend. She loves snuggles and is extremely gentle with people. She is trained off leash and loves to be active! She has no problem keeping up when we go hiking with our kids! She has great instincts for hunting or herding. Murray is a 70lb dog who thinks he is a lap dog. He is up to date on his shots and is fully house-broken. He loves to play fetch and run around. He is good with other dogs and children. He comes from a quiet home, but can be the life of the party if the atmosphere is right. He would be a great family pet where there are lots of hands to pet him, laps for him to sit on and feet to take him for walks.

Jazz and Jack need to go to a good loving and nurturing home. I preferably didn’t wanna separate them but if absolutely need be I’m willing too. They are brother and sister and our friends and family always call them velcrow dogs bc they always wanna be right by you and love on you, almost like sitting on your lap. They absolutely love to cuddle and play. In my opinion they are just the best dogs! Jack and jazz have nicknames, Cracker Jack and Jazz the Spazz lol. Chop comes from a busy home full of kids and absolutely loves being part of the action. He’s a quiet, calm, and laid-back boy—but don’t let that fool you, he really enjoys his walks! A couple of years ago, he was attacked, so we’re not completely sure how he would do with larger dogs. However, since then, he has helped “raise” two puppies and does wonderfully with them now that they’re older. He also gets along great with cats! He actually grew up around them, so sometimes he acts like a big, lazy house cat himself 😂 He is chipped and fixed! Chop is amazing with people. So our home is lively and loud at times with kids running in and out and playing. She is skittish and a bit mistrusting with people but she's very sweet and remarkably cuddly once she warms up. She's not aggressive in the slightest. She's very good with other animals to the point where she cuddles up to our 57 pound Husky like he's a teddy bear. Pearl is a grey fuzzy female who I adopted from my grandmother who unfortunately had to leave her home due to dementia. She was an outdoor cat but due to the cold snap we had to bring her inside. Bandit has grown up in a house with many animals and is really well behaved with all of them: birds, pigeons, rats and cats etc. I would now recommend that he goes with older people because of his age. He's mainly been a indoor dog due to complaints about barking from neighbors, that's part of breed. He's tried to herd my kids in the past and will get between people and other dogs if the other dog is riled up. He's very cuddly and likes to stay by his person's side. He's trained well on a leash and in general but needs a firm consistent owner to deal with his independent breed. He has both his distemper and rabies with vet records going back to his puppyhood upon request.

Moose might be eight years old, but you would never guess that. He is the happiest boy who would play fetch all day long if he could. He lives in a quiet home now, but would thrive in an active family. Runs, hikes, bike rides are all in his wheelhouse. Moose lives with or has been exposed to every combination of people/animals one could reasonably expect and has never had an issue. He just wants everyone to be his best friend! Meet Betty the Beagle(mix) — a sweet, laid-back girl looking for a home to call her own. She loves cozy naps, leisurely walks, and following her nose wherever it leads. Betty thrives on routine and settles in quickly once she feels comfortable. Like many hounds, she’s very food-motivated and may help herself to the trash if given the opportunity, so a secure trash can is a must. He lives in a family home, with kids and other dogs. He is loving and isn't afraid of the vacuum or being groomed. He will lay down and let you brush and vacuum him. He loves to play and exercise and go for hikes and runs. LOVES to swim. He would probably thrive in a single dog home, just because he has had to share attention for so long, I think he just needs to be someone’s best friend. He is a herder, which means if you have really small children he will herd them and can be protective over them. Recommending a household with older children or just a no children home. Ace is a full border collie. He has been with me since 8 weeks old and has been an excellent companion, his love and joy is the outdoors where he loves to play frisbee, we have gone for multiple hikes together, he loves to swim and go to the beach, he does well off leash as that is what he is most used to. He’s had lots of acreage to run as it’s important for him to get an abundance of exercise. He needs a job to feel most content. He often doesn’t know his limits and will play past the point of exhaustion but is happy with a few hours of exercise a day. He has his own bed but loves to cuddle next to his people. He does well meeting other animals at the park, it’s a hit or miss indoors with other animals. He’s hasn’t been introduced to cats. He loves car rides and the occasional pup cup!

Pickles is a good kitty, but he would do better in a home without small children. He does well with dogs, but not sure about other cats. We just adopted another male and he has been curious but very aggressive with him and all members of the family since introducing new kitty. Unfortunately, I can’t risk my children getting injured from him.
We took him in as a favor for a friend about 8 months ago. He likes to lounge around and comes gives small amounts of love when he’s feeling lonely - which isn’t as often as my daughters would like. I hope someone with a quieter lifestyle will take him in because he truly is a good kitty.

Roxee's mother is bull terrier and her father is pit/ catahoula leopard dog. She was just spayed on 5-12-26. She comes from a home that has 2 of her siblings, 2 chihuahuas, 1 big dog and cats. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old but since she was about 6 months old she started having aggression towards our chihuahuas. She gets along fine with her siblings and the other big black lab but absolutely does not with the chihuahuas so we have to keep them separated which isnt fair to her. We havent had any issues with her and the cats. She is afraid of strangers and dogs she doesnt know but it just requires someone to take the time to get her use to them. She really is a sweet big baby besides these issues. She loves to be held like a baby and cuddled. Absolutely loves her toys and will carry them around and try to take them outside with her.She does have a lot of energy but ehat puppy doesnt.She is crate trained and use to a fenced in back yard. She does ok in the car. She has been around children 10 and older. Her ideal home would be with someone who knows how to work with her behavioral issues. I think she would do good with a home that has at least one dog the size of her or bigger because she does show loneliness when she goes out by herself. Someone with older children. Someone who has patience to work with her and take the time for her to get use to them. If this requires said person to come to our house a few times to meet her and establish a bond that is perfectly fine. We love roxee and we just want her to go to a home that she can live a happy life at.

Kush is a very loving dog and loves to play and cuddle! He has brothers and sisters but i’m not sure if he would be good with a new dog but i wouldn’t see why not, but i feel like he would have more love being the only animal but honestly that’s all up to whomever adopts him. He lives in a busy home with his brothers and sisters, there’s never a dull moment but he is a very well behaved dog. Friends and family call our dogs velcrow dogs because they always want to be by your side. Very loyal yet also protective. I am busy because I work from 5 am to 3:30 and my household was very busy until my kids got older and moved out so it was just me and Buddy and it got quiet. Buddy is loveable dog with separation anxiety. He has fear based reactivity. Buddy has alot of energy and he would need a home that someone can help him with training and patience. She is incredibly smart and very much trained. Super fun to play fetch with and is very loving. She is protective of her family and barks when she doesn't know you and sees you for the first time, but then warms up and is chill. She is afraid of the vaccum, not sure why, just is lol. Winnie is truly the sweetest girl, who wants to please and means no harm in any way, but she was not taught boundaries and how to play. She’s a puppy who doesn’t know her strength. She is amazing walking on a leash and we have a loose leash on every walk.She is very friendly with every person she’s met, both men and women. She immediately bows down and just wants to be pet and loved. She is so gentle when taking treats. When she is the only dog in the house, she has no food or toy aggression whatsoever even when being pet while eating. Even when taking away high value treats and toys she is not aggressive in anyway. She will make the perfect dog for someone in a calm environment with no other dogs. I don’t know how she is with cats, but she has been around chickens and did not chase them or try to harm them. She is very playful and loves to play fetch and will bounce right back to you and happily drop it if she knows you’ll continue to play with her. If I didnt have another dog I would absolutely keep her in a heartbeat but my dog has to be my priority.

Patience is in need of a single couple home with no little children or pets. She gets anxious in big crowds and lots of action. We have 6 children, 5 grandbabies, and 3 other dogs. This is too much for her. She has snipped at the other dogs but never drew blood. She prefers to be the only animal. Patience is spayed, chipped, potty trained, and is use to being home for 12 hour days while we work with no accidents. She loves to play catch (that is here favorite), she likes to watch and join in everything you do. Our neighbors have borrowed her to bring back their dogs, as she is a hurding dog. She loves to hangout outside with you or go on walks. You can use a leash but she doesn't need one, she won't go anywhere. This is not an easy decision for us. She has been apart of our family for 3 years. We want to do what is right by her.

Kit is amazing, gentle old gal who just wants to be a lap dog. She is house broken, crate trained (although I have not had her in a crate the past couple of years), spayed, great with other cats and dogs as well as with kids. She barks when playing, but does not bark when people come to the door, come in the yard, knock on the doors, etc. She absolutely loves being outside in the sunshine or out for long walks on a leash.

Bud warms up to new adults fast. He needs a quieter home, no little ones or animals. He is high energy with excitement when you first meet him, but after that he is a sweet and layed back dog. If you allow him, he thinks he’s a nap dog and wants to cuddle as close as possible. He likes to be covered up before bed. He’s a lot of fun to play rope with and take him on quiet walks. He is a bigger dog with the heart of a loving pup. His owner was a young man who was not married and had no kids. They spent time hiking, biking, and napping together. Unfortunately he passed away tragically, leaving him alone. My husband and I wanted to try to home him with us, but he didn’t do well with kids. He wants love so bad and is the best cuddler and friend to man. We are desperately looking for someone to love and care for him.

This is Tank. He has been with us since he was a puppy. He grew up with kids and cats. However I think he would prefer a calmer home as he seems to get anxious when the kids are loud and running around. He has never really been around other dogs so I cannot say how he would do. Tank loves to snuggle and get attention. He has not been on a leash in quite some time so he would need some work on that. He turns 9 this summer, and unfortunately we have moved and cannot bring him with us. We want to find him a loving home as soon as possibly can.

Hi my name is buddy, I am 1 1/2 year old Australia shepherd mix, I am neutered and utd on my shots. My owner recently passed away unexpectedly and sadly the family cannot keep me. I’m good with older kids (10yrs and older) and with other dogs with a slow introduction. Feedings need to be separately as I am food aggressive, need a fenced in yard to run in (or a farm). I am scared and confused as the past couple of weeks of my life has changed a lot and do not understand. My owner fed me 3x a day and I’ll let you know when it’s time to eat. Don’t leave socks around cause I like those. My crate isn’t my favorite place but my owner would put me there when he left but only for 3-4 hours at most.i tinkle when i get scared or excited but i dont mean to other wise i am housebroken. Family tried to keep me but i dont like other dogs around the kids and will attack the other dog (only if they are little babies). Im hoping you can help me find a good and loving home like I had once before. So please help me love buddy.
